Zero to 5K
The first Zero to 5K group
for this year begins the week of Feb. 8
The Zero to 5K is an 8 week program for new
runners. The goal is to help you become a runner and prepare you for your first 5K race.
There is no charge for Checkers members. The group will led by Megan
Nelson, a certified Aerobics and Fitness
Association of America (AFAA) personal trainer/group resistance trainer. Contact Megan or Greg Lavis for more information.
Grand Prix 2012
The Grand Prix series will
return for 2012, with some changes that should make it more competitive.

We would like to update our list of
group runs. If you are part of a group that meets regularly and is
open to new runners, let Greg Lavis know.
