Checkers General Meeting

The Checkers General Meeting is held in the early spring.
The new board members are announced and a guest speaker is invited.
It is the kick-off meeting for the running season.

Summer Picnic

The Picnic is held in late summer.
It is a time to relax and enjoy each other's company for fun and games.

End-of-Track Awards Party

The End-of-Track Awards Party is held after the last track practice in the fall.
Awards are given to new comers, most improved, best performers.
At the end of the Party the Tom Steele award is awarded to a Checkers Member.

Holiday Party

The Holiday Party is held at the end of January.
Food and Drinks at a restaurant.

Happy Hour

During the summer monthly Happy Hours are organized

Fun Runs

Three or Four Fun Runs are organized in the summer.
